The article highlights the need for rigorous clinical research to more precisely investigate the role that Bartonella species play in a variety of chronic disorders. The call is now out to medical researchers investigating Rheumatoid Arthritis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and Lyme Disease to take up the banner and test the hypotheses in independent studies.
